JET-X Models were one of the many brands from Dragon Wings. They were first introduced in 1998 and produced in 1/400 scale.
The JET-X brands were made in plastic and die cast metal. Using the same techniques and molds used by Dragon Wings, this manufacturer also provided the collector with a Membership Club called the “Millennium Club”. Each annual membership received access to purchase a special and very limited produced model exclusive to membership. The Millennium Club was eventually discontinued for lack of support.
In the 21st century the JET-X Models brand has been upgraded so they could compete in today’s marketplace. JET-X now produces an all die cast metal model in 1/400 scale line under their old banner JET-X. In 2009 they introduced a new die cast model with limited plastic parts in the 1/200 scale line under the name JETXL.
Both of these are highly detailed and very comparable with all other major models in the marketplace. Currently all JET-X products can be found at ADAMJets.com. They are valued by hobbyist, enthusiasts and industry professional alike. JET-X is one of the top ten models produced for their quality and degree of accuracy, making them highly collectible.
